Justin Jared Thompson, 16, of Mapleton returned to his Heavenly Father on January 22, 200.
Our loving son, brother and friend was love so much and will be missed dearly.
Justin was born January 13 1986, to Richard G. and Patty Kim Ney Thompson. He grew up in Mapleton and attended school in Mapleton and Springville.
He also attended Springville High School.
Justin was a deeply compassionate boy, especially toward his family and friends. He loved going on fishing trips and spending time with his family and friend.
He also had a particular fondness for animals and counted them among his friends. Music, and playing the guitar brought Justin much joy and satisfaction.
He had a talent for working with computers and could fix almost any problem. Justin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his parents of Mapleton, two brothers, Ryan and Brad, and sisters, Meliss (Ryan Delta), Melanie (Al) Shotwell, Texas, Michelle (Mark) Fuller, Vernal, Robin (Todd) McMullin, Minersville, Stacy (Jason) Thomas, Tooele, Valarie (Jeremy) Heywood Tooele, uncles, aunts, 14 nieces and nephews, grandparents; Richard A. Thompson, and Jennie Ney Barber. He was preceded in death by grandparents, June Thompson, and Joseph Ney.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, at 11 a.m. at the Mapleton Stake Center located at 970 N. 400 East in Mapleton. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S, in Springville on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
